ALONE
A camel in the desert all Alone
Trudging ahead on his own
Afraid to be alone just as you and I
Being alone his soul will die
Searching around for a friendly face
Lost in such a lonesome place
There is no one anywhere in sight
The road ahead is so dull, not bright
A camel being so much like we
All alone losing his identity
Keeps fighting the urge to sit down
Just hoping someone’s around
So we must understand his plight
Should he go left or should he go right
His heart now carrying a heavy load
Walking ahead on this lonesome road
Just like the camel, you and me
Searching ahead trying to see
If there is another soul out there
That will help set the soul free
ALONE.
