Sunday morning @ Waurn ponds
Well Sunday morning I decided to head to the Skate Park at Waurn ponds in Geelong. I got there around 10am to find a couple of kids on scooters with mum and dad and an empty bowl. After toying with the idea of going some where else I decided to stay. this is what I was lucky enough to see.

All superb captures Al ! Great angles, proximity, timing, very crisp and nice contrasts.
It would be amazing to see the American Pro’s and some Aussies blasting air after air through all those hips on the left side.

Thanks James some of the guys I have seen at these bowls will get around 7-8ft of air and your right would love to see some pro’s ride these bowls

Thanks Di. I do love getting up close and personal photo’s 4 & 5 the camera was about 8-12 inches from the subject. Both guys bikers were worried about damaging the camera I told them if it did happen it would be my fault and possibly a good reason for an upgrade!!!!!

As you know, I meant skateboarders. But I can still appreciate awesome skill on a BMX bike too because I love adrenaline sports.

Lisa he did a bout eight of these flips for me out of the bowl (landed every one) he span so fast that it was hard for me to get good focus with the fish eye
