Managed to capture this beautiful misty morning sunrise. As luck would have it a very photogenic duck just happened to fly into the picture just as I pressed the shutter button!
Do you subscribe to the Phi/Golden Rule/Rule of 1/3’rds at all? At first, looking at this shot my eye is automatically drawn to the sun. From there I get drawn to the top half of the tree, then down to the grass line & tree line in the distance, ending at the crow. Your composition is brilliant! Sorry for this side comment, but I had just worked on a sunrise myself as yours came up on the Activity Bar. The second, scrutinised look shows all these factors. Kudos

Hi Andrew, Well I keep the golden rule in mind but I tend to line things up as they unfold before me ………..the duck on the left was just a bit of luck but the balance between the tree and sun was important so as the one should not dominate the other …….other than that "in the right place at the right time is always the key factor for me………up nice and early to get in position well before the sun is up……….Thank you again for your kind comments.
