You can see why it is called ‘Mirror Lake’. Located in the Majestic Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York USA and the Olympic Village of Lake Placid. The village of Lake Placid lies on the shore of Mirror Lake and Lake Placid; the former provides a backdrop for the Main Street commercial district. Host of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, the area boasts downhill skiing at Whiteface Mountain.

WOW!!!!! what a fabulous image, Al…love the vibrant colours of the trees set against the white buildings. Great find!

  • It was a stormy day, yet this lake is protected from the wind somehow.

    Thanks for the feedback,
    Mark
