Mark Allen

I am a retired web designer and keen amateur photographer. My main interest is travel photography, however, as I progress in my photography I find that I am enjoying monochrome more and more.

I won ‘Photographer of the Year’ in my local camera club in 2007/2008 and again in 2008/2009. The death of my son in June 2009 eroded my passion for photography, but I am slowly rekindling my interest. As a NIPA (Northern Ireland Photographic Association) judge, I have found that judging is helping me get back my interest in Photography.
