2010 1st Place Cubism, in American Art Awards Three little doggies came out to play, stopped on a dime, with legs all a splay.
This is my newest in the K9.5 series. There is just something about dogs at play. You have to giggle. They are so uninhibited and unrestrained they are just a joy. This is done in color pencil and markers on MDF panel. The color is fully saturated and vibrant. And the finish is smooth and satin like.
About The Original Size: 14.75×24″ Media: MDF Panel 1/2" Materials: color pencil and marker Price: $975 Prints available from artist
Mmmmm, love this one! In the wet climes, such as our own, MDF falls apart just from the ambient moisture in the air. Sadly, our floor is suffering due to being MDF in a moist climate, even in the less-traveled areas. Can you afford hardboard? Or bath-tub surround on thin hardboard?
I did not know that. Sadly color pencils do not work on hardboard. I have just started to use wood with beveled edges. It seems to working pretty well. Thanks for the tip!
