TRoLLiN!
there were 3 little trolls
who sat on the wall by day

Waiting till sleep takes hold
restless, they soon slipped away

Where they went I could not know
when I asked, they would not say

till feigning sleep I saw them goin’
Here is where they came to play

out and about gone trollin’
now I sleep by Day!

As a young girl I had trolls and though I found them fascinating, I never saw them as cuddly or cute. They seemed as tiny little, lecherous men. Cool but lecherous to the Nth degree. A matter of fact this is an accurate depiction of the impression they made on me. The original is also my entry for “the secret life of toys” Ebay Nibblefest this month. I just couldn’t resist!
