Beautifully done. Such sadness that children, no matter what country the live in, sometimes end up alone and on the street.

Very moved by this piece and your story. I was on the streets myself at 13 and barely survived. Now that I’m 53 I can’t believe that the problem has only gotten worse. Thank you for bringing it to light!

My husband is from Sao Paulo and was abadoned outside a convent when he was three days old…..thankfully he was adopted by a loving Italian family…....he never forgets that he is one of the lucky ones who made it out. His family (who are as white as white can be) have always called him the “golden boy” because of the beautiful colour of his skin, but moreso, because he is their miracle. Thank you so much for sharing this work….....you have really, really moved me!!

A brilliant and sensitive portrait with an all too familiar story from around the world. I saw “City of God” and it encapulated the lives that these children endure in the ghettos in Rio De Janeiro.

I so want to stop these tears from forming. Great emotion.
