Time to retreat by

This female elephant, as described in previous picture descriptions, charged us several times. The photograph was taken in Pilansberg Game Reserve in South Africa. (Little bit of heaven).
I thought I would try and give the image a bit more drama.

It was taken with a Nikon 8800, processed in Photoshop layers and given a frame from onOne

Wow, this really is a great image Alma! Love the treatment you’ve given it, an artist’s dream to sketch! that must have been quite an experience, getting charged like that! You’re one of the lucky ones (in more ways than one!), never been that close to an elephant in a Game Reserve.

  • It is so good to have your opinion, thank you for this lovely comment and favourite. Consider it yours Maree if you can use it please be my guest. As for the experience just mind blowing. Alma xx

A combination of your wonderful talent to change a pic into a piece of art and a beautiful photo of a great animal!

  • Thank you so much for your kind comment Elizabeth, she is a magnificent animal. I was hoping with this treatment to try to convey her power as she charges towards you, if viewed larger I think it is someway there. Alma x
