The Waltz

Waltz, two, three; Waltz, two, three.
Split, two, three; Close, two, three.

I watch him, he watches me.
We split apart, then dance together.

Waltz, two, three; Waltz, two, three.
Turn, two, three; Waltz, two, three.

I watch him, he watches me.
I turn under, he leads me.

Waltz, two, three; Waltz, two, three.
Turn, two, three; Waltz, two, three.

I watch him, he watches me.
I dance alone, he joins me.

Waltz, two, three; Waltz, two, three.
Spin, two, three; Spin, two, three.

I watch him, he watches me.
I spin away, he follows me.

Waltz, two, three; Waltz, two, three.
Turn, two, three; Finish, two, three.

I watch him, he watches me.
I turn under, we finish together.

The Waltz by

This is a poem I in the wrote middle of seventh grade. The combination is based off the waltz we learned for tryouts in Jane Eyre.
