Am in the Greek Isles September/October enjoying the olives, honey, Samian wine and profound history. Wandered through the 3,000 year old city of Ephesus yesterday … travelling back through time into these ancient ruins now under extensive restoration was transformational.
Wise Tip: Do NOT go with a tour guide unless you are assured of a minimum of three hours within the ruin site itself. This must include entry into the Marble Hall and palatial residence district where superb mosaic friezes have been uncovered recently.
Leaving Samos tomorrow for Santorini, Mykonos then Delphi where the summer crowds have departed to leave space and peace for the enthralled artist to sketch and paint with golden delight!
