I took a photography course in high school and fell in love.

Somewhere along the way, life happened and I didn’t have the time or the resources to devote to it anymore. My kids grew up, moved out and I decided I wanted to start taking pictures again.

I started out using a Canon S5IS. I’ve moved up in the camera world and am now using a Rebel XSi.

I started college this summer, and am taking all the photography classes that I can. I’m about finished with Digital Photography, and am taking a B&W film class in the fall.

As you can see, I don’t take pictures of just one thing. I shoot whatever catches my eye. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

The hunt for the shot is as enjoyable to me as getting it. I lose myself when I’m out with my camera.
