what’s the story behind this one mate?

Well – I have studied various martial arts since I was a kid – I drew a picture or Dr Hatsumi (Ninja) as I am currently learning ninjitsu. And sold a few prints on trademe.co.nz I decided to do a series of the ‘masters’ and founders of these many arts. Someone asked for one of this chap “Tessyu” – the founder of Kendo…. It has since been used for marketing a Kendo club in the UK. The bloke in the Samurai gear is actually Hatsuimi – the Ninja master – a different art but I needed a decent reference for the Samurai aspect of he history of this disciplne Kendo. The two are connected by the use of the sword.
Then – I was asked by a redbubbler to make these Martial arts sketches available as shirts – which I lack the technology to do so – theyellwfury has helped me out – because he made the request. And that is about the size of it John – I have a few more to do in the new year, like Bodhidarma – Kung Fu for example. How’s that for a story? Or not what you meant
