Because my comment on the feature was left before you entered it into the challenge I am not removing you yet, I seemed to had missed yours when checking all the entries. but you need to have a narrative description of what it is your conveying as the undefinable part. One sentence of anger and excitement(although I still hold it is an amazing image and the sentence is powerful) does not constitute a description of why you are submitting it to this challenge. Pretend the viewers are dummies and that they don’t understand what they’re looking at… is it a controlled explosion set to demolition an old office building? Is it some foreign countries goof up of a chemical experiment( I know I was reaching with that one) but here in your description feel free to delve into your political standings and how this image, of brute force and attack is just….undescribable to you. The fact that people could carry out such shocking displays of violence that is senseless over their personal beliefs or their trying to enforce a new political regime on a unwilling citizenry just brings anger and sadness to your very core. The best word to describe this(feel free to use it or not, it’s not cheating I’ve helped others to bring out their vision this way too) is that it’s a monstrous act of hate, and that hate is undefinable to you. You wonder how another could hate so much to act like this? An emotion that is perceived by all differently and with their own unique experiences behind it so one cannot feel another’s hate the same as they do. Making HATE and undefinable thing. THis Act of blowing up a building which doesn’t look like a warehouse for weapons or a military base of operations to me, so it’s an attack on innocent bystanders. Women, Children, Young lovers, Old couples hoping to die peacefully or to see this hatred end before they died became the the tool of the other’s hatred.
Emotion is a very undefinable thing. Anyways I didn’t warn you last week about it. So I will give you til Tuesday, Jan. 13th2009 at ten p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time- I am on the west coast of the USA) so I think that should give you enough time to prepare what you want to say. Make this for once your political forum and that you’re given this one time opportunity to make people aware of what is happening elsewhere(especially America needs to perk up and pay attention, Gaza is all over the news but if this is somewhere else then another monstrous act is being covered up by sensationalism of the news)
