RAAF Catalina Flying Boat A24-362 on approch wheels down to Avalon for the 2011 International Airshow. This is not the actual aircraft, but another PBY-6A which was brought by the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) and painted up to represent a RAAF Catalina flying boat flown by a HARS member during World War II
Nice composition, you did wel to get her all in the frame!
She was joy to shoot Spence mate, she was moving so slowly that she was a aircraft junkie’s photographer dream! Plenty of time to compose and shoot! Sheer joy! First time I’ve seen a example of this type flying.
