Artist's Description

The Starboard anchor chain out at ’short stay" on the HMAS Ballarat, helping to keep her snug alongside Cunningham Pier in Geelong. This is the second ship to bear the name in RAN service, the first being a Bathurst Class Corvette during World War Two.
