It started with just one image, inspired by a fellow bubbler. Paul Moore’s image of Grey Nurse impressed me, and I felt inspired to take a look at a similar image I’d taken back in 2010. A little bit of creative work later and I had produced what looked like to me a “wartime snapshot” that might have been taken at some WW II airfield. I had already done a similar treatment to the cockpit of a U.S. marked P-40. But the idea has started to grow on me, and so began “Project-Wartime Snapshot”. I started looking through my files to find images to work with, and it seemed that the best ones I had to work with initially were all from the 2010 RAAF Air Pageant. So I picked what I thought would be the most likely to come up well with a little bit of work, and this, is the initial result for “Project-Wartime Snapshot.” I have no doubt that more will be added over time.
