Renoir is one of my favourite artists and this is my version of his painting Girl Braiding Hair 
It’s not an exact copy as I just couldn’t do it besides I have a natural inclination to elongate figures.

no no I think your version is wonderful.
Thanks Alf, it’s much looser then Renoirs as during this period he seems to be into detail, like the leaves, but my thing is eye-squint effect and colour, if you know what i mean ;)

I’m thinking more Modigliani that Renoir. Either way it’s a beautiful piece of work and would stack up alongside either of these guy’s work, seriously. X

my gosh shanina.. what an incredible talent you have.. i had no idea…i actually prefer your rendition.. the softer lines and edges… for lack of a better word it appears more feminine… like you understand the subject matter better.. there is a quite aura around her………. really beautiful work……. i don’t know that i would ever return to film/digital if i had your talent with a brush………b
