In the millions of years of the history of the earth there have been hundreds of pole reversals.
These changes trigger drastic climate changes resulting in drought, flooding, earthquakes with deadly results for for the inhabitants of this planet.

I wanted to convey the sense of urgency in this work.

Wow, you’ve very successfully conveyed that feel of urgency you wanted, Shanina. Fabulous work. I love all the colours, but particularly the fluidity in the aqua colour – amongst other aspects of this image, to me it also represents the rapid changes, the flowing from one climate change to another.
