Shanina, absolutely stunning, your art here is amazing, the melding of legs and cigarette smoke and it feels like I am sitting behind someone in a darkened theatre, looking over their shoulder! I can almost taste the ciggie (and I gave up two and a half years ago!!) Wow! You keep outdoing yourself!

in my younger years (a long time ago !), I did manage a few jazz musicians in Paris and I did encounter some of them...
not the best memories of course, but we did have 1 or 2 good surprises…

This puts me in mind of Jack Vettriano. A Scottish artist from… I think… Fife, who specialises in images that are a bit erotic and slightly seedy. Alienation seems to feature strongly, too – people not quite connected to each other.

Anyway, your picture reminds me of some of his and that’s entirely down to the hand in the foreground
