Around 7 years of age I entered the Madame Borovansky School of Ballet.
where you were taught the Russian style of classical ballet, It was strict, disciplined and often fearsome for a child but the company produced most of Australians greatest ballet dancers.

Ballet teachers are very strict
and second to an army instructor they put you through your paces
“Every young man should be able to do 50 press ups” is what he said.
I was 40 at the time and with his help I made 43 press ups
Couldn’t do it now! lol
