Another photograph from the West Pier Girders right at the bottom as the tide came in. © Alixzandra 2010
abstract, alixzandra, brighton, girder, metal, metal wall art, pebbles, rust, the west pier
Wonderful image – sort of landscape sort of abstract – I love those places in between
Thanks Athex, I thought the balance of the pebbles made this photograph. Glad you like it.
Great perspective which gives it a real abstract feel. Great vision
Thanks, the water was already coming in, the pebbles shiny and thought they added to the overall feel of the shot.
You have such an amazing eye for this genre..Top work, as always ;-))
Cheers Mr Tull for the compliment :)
Terrific image. Makes a great abstract, with a little realism in the foreground.
Exactly Dot, slightly different for me, but the elements I felt worked well together in this instance. Thank you.
Lovely work Alix
Many thanks Andrew!
Instant fave! Such wonderful colors and contrast in textures… (From the square thumbnail I thought it was an image of Jupiter – but this is one a slightly different scale ;))
Scale alot smaller than Jupiter :-) it is displayed in a community ehbition at the moment and many have commented on a planetary theme also. Thank you for your comment.
Wonderful work – such a great eye to spot this.
Thanks Blake, was as you can see pretty much to the floor to get the composition, very mindful of the water/lens!
Great word Jovian Timington! quite apt, I would like to re-name this as such if thats okay with you? ! Alix
