Named after a certain song. Going through my archives I stumbled upon this photo from September 2010. I remember this evening so well, it was probably some of the roughest conditions I have taken photos in. Ideally I wanted to position myself around the west side of the Schanck but the wind blowing seaspray towards me was that strong that it would have been impossible to get a clear shot. Standing out in the open also made it extremely hard to keep the tripod still and I didn’t want to risk losing a few dollars worth of camera equipment!
Taken at Cape Schanck, part of the Mornington Peninsula National Park in Victoria, Australia
Really nice image Alistair. The two second exposure looks great on the water. I envy you the lee filters, but where the hell do you get these. I have been trying for about a month and they are just not available.

Gorgeous work Alistair! Really love the pastels in the sky against the dark tones of the rocks and the misty, rough water pouring over it :)
Thanks Shelley, glad you like it. Sure was rough
