Under the Milky Way... by

Tonight I took my first trip to Dog Rocks just out of Geelong. I went there to hopefully capture a good sunset but it was quite a let down so I hung around a bit longer and waited for the stars to come out and play. It helps a lot when the moon lights up the foreground :)

About Alistair Wilson

Photography for me is an outlet, a way I can express myself through images rather than words. I look at the subjects I shoot from every possible angle that I can imagine and with the right light, the vision in my head becomes a reality. My passion for it began after high school and over the past several years it has become my release, my way of seeing from a different perspective..

Great shot of this tree, love the reflected shadow. You did very well as I paSsed there tonight and it was FREEZING and WET!

  • Thanks :) Yeah driving there on the freeway it rained pretty heavy for a bit but passed over real quick, i missed a rainbow unfortunately as it was pretty much gone when I got to dog rocks. I had double jumpers and gloves on :) had to wipe the lens a few times to keep it clear
