The Golden Arch by Alistair Wilson

The Golden Arch by

This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company…

Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother. For information read this story on the collapse

About Alistair Wilson

Photography for me is an outlet, a way I can express myself through images rather than words. I look at the subjects I shoot from every possible angle that I can imagine and with the right light, the vision in my head becomes a reality. My passion for it began after high school and over the past several years it has become my release, my way of seeing from a different perspective..

What Craig said…lol…Brilliant shot, Alistair. So glad you could capture this ‘in peace’ too. Well done. An instant fave.

  • Thanks Elana, it was great having the whole place to myself, even though it was pretty chilly it was well worth it
