Taken at 9:19pm on the way home from a shoot at Sandringham Beach under the light of a full moon. A bulb exposure of around 40 seconds @ f7.1. Couldn’t let it go too long otherwise the moon would blur out. Hadn’t taken a pic from this spot before but it’s pretty close to home :)
They have been widening this freeway for months to make it 4 lanes bothways but I don’t think they have yet realised that it still has to go down into a 3 lane tunnel in peak hour to cross the Westgate Bridge. In peak hour it may as well be a 2 lane tunnel because they have to close the left lane in heavy traffic to let through emergency vehicles in the event of an emergency someone wasn’t smart enough (or prepared to spend enough money) to put in a shoulder!
Taken with my trusty Canon 40D with 10-22mm lens, Velbon tripod and trusty canon shutter release otherwise a bulb exposure wouldn’t be achievable.
