I just hope your parents find the same strength and resilience as my parents did when they lost everything on Ash Wednesday at Lorne. Faced with a scene just like this they set about rebuilding and today are a couple of cheerful 86-year-olds who don’t believe in looking back.

Talk about being on the front line, considering how many died that day in Marysville it is a miracle your folks survived. Thanks for sharing the personal side.
