Another one from Sunday’s Canola hunt down at Little River in Victoria, Australia. I usually do everything that I can to avoid shooting at f22 for a number of reasons. Namely the images are never as sharp and it’s a harsh reminder that maybe it’s time for a sensor clean! Sometimes though you just want that star like effect and it’s the best way I know how without the false sense of achievement in Photoshop.

Hope you enjoy!

  1. Canon 5D mk III, 17-40L FL: 17 mm
  2. 0.6 seconds @ f22, ISO 100
  3. Lee 0.9 ND Graduated Filter
  4. Adobe Lightroom 4

Photography for me is an outlet, a way I can express myself through images rather than words. I look at the subjects I shoot from every possible angle that I can imagine and with the right light, the vision in my head becomes a reality. My passion for it began after high school and over the past several years it has become my release, my way of seeing from a different perspective..
