Sailor's Warning
Woke up at 4:40 am and drove down to Cape Schanck hoping to get at least one shot and this was the one (or 5 seeing it’s a stitch). Got here around 6:00 am and had the whole place to myself. It was pretty rough but thankfully not too windy. For anyone who plans on going here make sure you know the tide times, and have adequate footwear!
Taken with my Canon 40D and 10-22mm wide angle lens, 5 shot stitch in Adobe Photoshop CS4. Used two ND4 grad filters as I don’t have any ones darker than an ND4, hence the reddy colour as well.
Better viewed large!

That is wonderful. Looks like another world. Interesting that the verse I know is
Red sky at night,
Shepherd’s delight.
Red sky in the morning,
Shepherd’s warning.
I live inland not on the coast.
