Lighting up the Surf
This one was taken at popular surfing spot Cat Bay on the North West coast of Phillip Island in Victoria, Australia. Got here with the hope of getting some nice long exposures of the high tide coming in and then the clouds opened up…
Taken with my Canon 40D and 10-22mm wide angle lens as well as poalrising, graduated and ND filters.

Excellent image Alistair. Are you using the cokin P series filters and if so are they usable at 10mm.

yeah using the cokin P – series, nah that’s the thing I can only get to 12mm at the widest, pretty annoying! wish i had known that before i had bought them but they are still an excellent filter system in my eyes although it’s the only one i’ve ever used
