Whispy Clouds at Ricketts
As I was waiting for the sun to set I couldn’t resist but take some shots of the reflections in the large rock pools near the point. The sunset ended up being quite average on this occasion so these shots are all I really came home with. The white clutter under the beacon is a large flock of seagulls.
Taken with a Canon 400D with ND4 grad and circular polarising filters. Exposure was 8 seconds @ f22.

i like that you use the combo of Pol and grad…it’s a good balance.
Alistair Wilson replied
thanks, i’ve only really been using filters (cokin) for a few weeks having a good time with them, so much to learn!
