Hey, Alistair, you’re finding more things that burned themselves into my memory when I was growing up in Perth in the 50’s and 60’s. Did you know that Alan Bond’s first job was painting this sign??

Anyway, great treatment, and thanks again for the memory.

Thanks Philip i had heard that before about Bondy,also have great memories of this place, my Dad did alot of brick work their in the early seventy’s and we would have the run of the place on weekends can remember sliding down the flour bag shutes that run from the top floor to the bottom floor of the main mill.

this is a great shot! but im curious…what is “dingo flour”? (lol…a scary thought)

Just a brand of flour named after the Dingo which is the only native dog found in Australia, nothing sinister Helene! lol.
