Fractured Justice (A Poem)

Justice is lost
Blind eyes can’t see
Scales cracked
Weighed down with misery

They cry to the sun
They cry to the moon
Of rage and despair
Of fools and undoing’s

Fear has descended
Imprisons the mind
Light feathers, gold coins
Is Justice blind?

Judges not the wicked
The innocent mourn
Heaven’s are fractured
Nothing but red dawns

Logan based writer, poet and artist. I seek with the pen and the brush. I think and it rolls out into words or strokes. I believe my writing should paint a picture and that my art should tell a story. I’m an uncomplicated woman in a very complicated way.
