Four Sisters by Alison Pearce

Small (23.2" x 16.1")

Montemarte watercolours on Hunter’s acid free paper.
Loosely inspired by a photograph taken of my mother and three of her sisters at one of my aunt’s Titanic themed birthday party. Naive work attempting to portray family similarities and polar opposite personalities within the time period.
Thank you for looking :)

Logan based writer, poet and artist. I seek with the pen and the brush. I think and it rolls out into words or strokes. I believe my writing should paint a picture and that my art should tell a story. I’m an uncomplicated woman in a very complicated way.

I do like these flat colours you are using and your choice of colours too..

  • Thanks Janis :) I’m not sure what the influence here was other than the original drawing was an extraordinarily simple line drawing!
