Gondolier by Alison Pearce

Gondolier by

Another piece using watercolours and oil pastels that are helping me travel the world vicariously! This is of a Venetian Gondolier calmly making his way along one of the famous canals surrounded by ancient, crumbling and yet so magnificent buildings in the primitive naive/impressionistic style I am enjoying experimenting with .
Here on youtube, I came across an uploaded family video of a Gondolier singing as he ferries his passengers.

About Alison Pearce

Logan based writer, poet and artist. I seek with the pen and the brush. I think and it rolls out into words or strokes. I believe my writing should paint a picture and that my art should tell a story. I’m an uncomplicated woman in a very complicated way.
