Watercolour painting of Red Riding Hood created for the first ever challenge hosted by the group, Myths Legends and Fairytales. It is also my first attempt at a fairytale inspired painting. The concept of an unhappy Red Riding Hood was also inspired by the song Red is Blue by Ben Folds. It is a song off the animated movie Hoodwinked, a fractured fairytale that has become one of my all time faves!
