Profile
I’m a professional photographer and have been for the last 23 years, before that I studied art and enjoyed drawing, painting and pen and ink work. I’m married with two kids, the second of which was only born in April, so I’m permanently tired at the moment.
I shoot commercial and advertising work, but I’m trying to get out more and work on fine art images as well as shots for stock libraries.
I’ve got a growing collection of Apple computers, most of which work, though my collection of cameras, with the domination of digital, seems to be diminishing, I’m still holding on to my 5×4 view camera, I’m determined to get out and use that more. Digitally I shoot with Canon 1Ds MkII’s, 17-40mm f4L, 24-70mm f2.8L and 70-200mm f4L lenses, I use up to 8 Bowens Esprit and Gemini flash heads and have a ton of reflectors, brollies, softboxes, batteries and other light manipulation kit at my disposal. I still shoot medium format, either film or digital when work demands it (rented).
