Pipe Dream.
I have never surfed,but for some reason it draws me in.
When I was in my early 40’s I wrote a lot of poetry,prose etc.
Maybe it will resurface here (pun intended)
I dream a dream of waves so high
I dream of waves that reach for the sky
I dream of floating across the foam
In a pipe, in a wave,like a slowly darkening cave
I dream the dream of Alien surf,of never ever touching Earth
I ride the board,I ride the surf,I ride the perfect pipe
I dream,I dream,I dream…........
