Theirs moment in time happened when, a vortex generated by a super nova inside a black hole, appeared before the temple followers, they thinking it a sign ( which it was, just not the one they had prayed for ) looked up to the heavens and were taken up, to become one with the firmament.
So in a sense, little did they know that their beliefs among other things, were spread across the cosmos.
