Artist's Description

*I’m sure there are valleys of death across the cosmos, this one is located on Dalgators Pain.

Seems on first notice a strange name for a planet, until you read about the tourist information brochure, it tells a short tale of one Dalgator the Sonic Gladiatior, he had won so many battles he could find none to challenge him.

So he broadcast his intention to trek across the the great deserts of this world.
At the time it had no name just a star-chart number, the planet is totally uninhabited.

With two suns in the heavens the heat is seering to say the least, but he took on this challenge, and nobeing was to come to his rescue for a year.

After the year had ended they went in and brought him out, probably within two months his mind snapped and he wondered aimlessly, and how he made it through a whole year anyone can guess, for he’s not talking.
If he achieved anything it was to have is name immortalised with a planet name.

Believe it or not there are rich tourists who come here to spend a few hours in the heat, thinking they have gone through what he did, but thats tourists for you, the haven’t changed in a few thousand years!*
