*In the far distant past when man lived in harmony with his environment, in a state of existence called “Dreamtime”.
A young aboriginal man picked up a hollow branch from a eucalyptus tree, put it to his lips and blew, and made a sound.
From that small beginning was born the Didgeridoo
*And for the Australian Aboriginal not only music but a form of communication on a much higher plain than even “modern” man can achieve. For it was born in the far, far past.
When I hold my didge’ my mind goes back to the “Dreamtime”.
And it doesn’t really matter where you are from in the universe, once you hear and accept the sounds of this hollow branch you are always taken back to the “beginning” of time.
It is an haunting sound, an ancient sound, it permeates your very soul.*
