Portal at Worlds End

When we first discovered the dimensional portal under the polar ice on Mars, it was many years before we understood how to use it.
Once we knew how to work it we thought, incorrectly, that it was a transporter to different planets, the first “team” to go through returned to tell a amazing story,it seems it did not go to a where but to another when.
The team never left Mars, they were just transported to a parallel dimension, the one they were taken to was a Mars that still had the Martian Race, the one that invented the portals.
And they wanted us as friends and allies, their race was dying ,they needed fresh blood, mating stock.
Our governments were more than happy to give, in return for an advanced technology.
Over time many dimensions were explored,we made enemies and allies, but above all we gained a vast data base of knowledge.
We even discovered portals that did take one to other planets, worlds and galaxies,we also discoverd portals that took you to other Times.

This is a newly discovered Time Portal on the ice world “Worlds End”.

from chapter 256,of “Dimensional Portals I have used” translated from the Zinni.

How I created Worlds End

I first built two landscapes in Artmatic, rendered them,( the same could be done in any rendering program) took them into PS Photomerge.

Joined them together, rendered them into one image, created two worlds in PS using the “Flaming Pear” filter LunaCell.

Saved them to a transparent BG,got one of my moon pics,(saved on a Transparent BG) dragged them into place, faded and added clouds with the clone tool, (set the opacity to about 18%).

Went into Bryce 3D and created the portal, exported and saved to a TBG.

Back in PS, dragged the portal into position, cloned out some of the bottom.

Did a bit with the “Warmth/Brilliance” filter ( Demo set can be downloaded free from

Color Efex?)

Saved at 300 dpi.

Portal at Worlds End belongs to the following groups:

Alien Worlds/Landscapes, Everything Winter, Graphic Editing 101, Out of the Blue (75%+ Blue artwork), Parallel Dimensions, PixElations - The Art of Photoshop, Sci Fi , Skyscapes and The Digital Interface
