The messenger is the depiction of a biblical scene that does not exist. Somehow people always try really hard to remember what book this is about. I like that. I never tell them the truth. The combination of old and new is very important to me – both topological as in the style elements I use. I want peoples minds to start wandering, while trying to find a way to combine the conflicting elements presented to them.
