Bitter Sweet Oleander

Look past the thick, lifeless, dark gray skies,
To the place where you know heaven exists,
Where the hurting ends, and eternal devotion lies.

Move on for now to the place where Cannabis’ and Oleanders never die,
Where they can bitter-sweetly bloom and boast forever,
Where you won’t drown in the endless raining from my eyes.

Discover that place in yourself that tries
To escape but is left frozen in fear, to
Where your courage, and your strength, can only amplify.

Break the rusty overbearing chains of all forces and size
That hold you back, to the place where you can
Follow your heart, and achieve every dream you fantasize.

Worry not about the place where sharp, cold, unnerving knives
Gracefully skate across my heart
For the deeper they glide, the more you will rise.

Leave me here alone in this place with no surprise,
And I will leave you with memories and pictures in your head,
And know, I will be there, whenever you close your eyes.

Adventure to the place where you can live your life to the fullest, and as wise
As can be. Sacrifice nothing, leave that to me.
For with this bittersweet decision, I create my own demise.

Look past the thick, lifeless, dark gray skies,
To the place where we know heaven exists,
Where the hurting ends, and our eternal devotion lies.
Find that place, where I will always love you,
Find that place, that’s where I will be waiting,
Find that place, my love, and see my suffering die.
