Oh, yes. This is the modern day interpretation of that song. There is a whole story here, as plain as if you had written it out. Your work is truly first class. Pastel… I have a brand new set and am itching to try them. You inspire me. If this is what can be achieved, wow. And thanks for commenting on Teagan.

do you use a light table at all in your work? The extreme photo-realism of your art is truly remarkable.. It makes me think of Scott Rockwell’s work a bit…

Hi imageshifter. Wow! Don’t know how I missed your remark. Not a light table, but I do transfer the image from a photo. I have no problem saying so, have seen too many bad realists, rather it’s right on from the get-go. You would not believe the difference from my poor snaps to the finished art tho. :) That’s where the art comes in. Also, I do draw from life whenever possible. I know my stuff.

You do indeed – I love your work!

Hi Simon, I get some fun comments on this one. It was featured on Deviant Art a couple of weeks ago, and it was interesting how people seemed to relate to my son’s (model’s) attitude. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. ~ Alice

I love how natural your artwork is. It’s not melodramatic and emotional, but more like little moments of life. Very beautiful.
Alice McMahon ... in reply to Sienna Morris’s comment, 24 days ago
Thank you very much for that Sienna. Most of the works are created from simple snapshot references of my children. I’m touched you took the time to notice. xx ~ Alice
