The first time (and only time so far!) I asked a stranger if I could take his photo. Am glad I did!

Wow, thanks Karen :D
Alice you warm my heart!!Asking before shouting shows good manors !!!!!Compliments..So often Tourists ‘shoot’ people whiteout shooting..often poor soulsThe photo itself is a juwel.. you might be so proud of the result..A FAV from HollandJohn
Thanks so much for your comment John! I must admit, if the person being aware of my presence would ruin the photo and there is a way of taking the photo in a subtle manner, I might not necessarily ask. However, I would never just get up in their face and take a picture like this without asking! Especially in this situation, the middle east places a lot of respect and importance in their elders and going against that just felt wrong!
April 30, 2013Beautiful work!
Great portrait shot, that is some awesome beard action.
AliceWonderful portrait of the man. Love that mile and the hirsute look about himPhil
This image made me smile and appreciate the person being photographed. There is kindness, humor and life story etched on his face.
Congratulations, well done!
