A nature-lover in general, especially of flowers, birds and trees, but a bug-lover in particular. As daughter of an entomologist, my early memories include hunting for ‘caterpillar food’, outings with a butterfly net, and hand-feeding Death’s Head Hawk moths.
Now, a totally amateur photographer with my first digital camera and macro facility, I’ve discovered a new passion – photographing bugs! Up close and personal, they are even more fascinatingly beautiful. Now if that dung beetle would just stand still …
