This Acrylic painting, ( 24" X 24") is of our backyard friends. For the last five years two Blue Jays have come to our patio to be hand fed peanuts in the morning. They hang out all the time and come now to just say Hi. The most amazing time is when I am gardening. They stay with me and pick out the worms and bugs as I weed. It is so much fun talking, playing and watching out backyard friends. Golden Finch had is nest close to us a couple of years ago and he visited us often. Our bird feeder attracts up to 30 Finches at a time. They are varied in color, orange, burgundy, yellow and red. We have names for the ones whose behaviors are especially strange, like: Nervous Ninny, Shy Boy, Flighty Freddie, Bold Red, Skittish, and Bobbin Head to name a few of our funny friends.
