This large 40 X 30 acrylic painting was inspired by this beautiful winery her on the Central Coast of California called Melville Winery. The architecture resembles that of a Tuscan flair so I used stone to outline this magical place. The vineyards here in Santa Barbara County are truly a work of art in and of themselves; the varied patterns, slopes and color just beg to be captured on canvas.
Thank you for your kind comment. I envy your ability to be in “Everyday European Life”. Your photography is outstanding. You have such a wonderful collection of beautiful places.
Thank you so much Niki. What an honor and a priviledge. Especially with such accomplished artists like yourself. Your kindness, attention and care you give by hosting this group is admirable beyond works. Thank you again.
Thank you again Vic. That helps so much, I recently entered ithis painting into a Fall Show here at our local gallery and happened to working the day the judges came in. He didn’t know it was my painting but he said the rock wall was all wrong and looked like it was just laid on as an after thought. He had no idea how long I had worked on the composition. You can now understand why your compliment is so very precious. Thank you
