Pelican Port by Mikki Alhart

Pelican Port by

This large oil painting of Pelican Bay is an inspiration from my heart and soul. I lived on my 36’ Columbia all alone for many years and sailed into Mexico from San Diego. I now live on the Central Coast of California where Pelican’s flock. The warm, welcome, glorious, feelings of the moon at sunset, old boats, and small harbors thrill all my senses. My hope is that viewers of this painting also experience the warm fuzzies that accompany nostalgic beauty.

Thank you Niki! I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend. I adore Fallbrock, you live in a beautiful city. I lived on my sailboat in San Diego when I was a counselor at the Salvation Army. My ocean paintings are inspirations from that time in my life. I love your work in pastels. Your colors are amazing. You are a blessing to us all. XO
